How we handle your data
The short version: we keep what you need to make and plan your posts, we keep it private to your account, and you can delete all of it whenever you like.

What we keep
Your account: your name, your email address and your password, which is stored only as a secure hash that nobody can read back.
Your work: the posts you design, their captions and hashtags, your feeds, your brand kit and the pictures you upload. Pictures and finished slides are stored privately and are only ever shown to you.
Links and articles you convert
When you paste a link, Feedsmith visits that page once to read the article and saves up to three of its pictures to your account so you can use them in the designer. The text is processed to write your post, and the post is what we keep.
Only paste links and text you are allowed to reuse. You are responsible for the content you publish on Instagram.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. It is needed for the studio to work and is never used for advertising. Visits to the site are counted with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies.
Emails
We only email you when you ask for it, for example to reset your password. Our emails record whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we can tell that they arrive. The password reset link itself is never tracked.
Your choices
You can change your details and your password at any time on the Brand kit page. Deleting your account there removes your account, posts, feeds, pictures and settings for good.
To ask anything about your data, reply to any email we have sent you and it reaches us.
Feedsmith is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta, and it never logs in to or posts to your Instagram account.
